Hello, my name is Alex.
I joined POINT as a Workshops and Training Co-ordinator in November 2024.
I have a history in Psychology and have previously volunteered at a youth club for children with special educational needs. Doing such a role and being a part of the children’s, parents/carers and professionals lives made me quickly realize that I wanted a career working with SEND.
I have always loved being in a role focused around supporting others and I am really excited to be a part of such a wonderful charity like POINT. It is an amazing opportunity to be able to contribute to supporting families of those with SEND, and I am in awe of all the amazing services and support this organization provides and the powerful difference it makes.
During my time with POINT delivering workshops and training, I hope to help and empower parents and carers to feel more informed and supported.
