Before joining POINT, I worked with the local authority as an independent community interpreter for couple of years, followed by a role as a residential support worker for children and young people.
As a parent of a child with SEND, I also have personal experience of navigating support through schools and the local authority. This gave me the opportunity to learn more about POINT and the valuable support they provide to children, young people, parents and carers.
My professional and personal experiences inspired me to join the team, where I hope to use my knowledge and experience to support children, young people and their families to feel heard, access the right support and thrive.
