Hello, I’m Danielle, SENDIASS Officer for Blackpool. I am excited to be working for a well established charity who can help and can make a difference.

I bring extensive, hands on experience in the SEND sector, having most recently worked as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant within primary education.

In this role, I worked closely with school SENCOs, NHS speech therapists, and local authorities to implement and deliver EHCP targets. I have also worked within the social care sector, giving me a deep understanding of the unique challenges and difficulties families face when trying to access the help they deserve.

As a parent myself, I am deeply connected to this work on both a personal and professional level. I have a genuine passion for ensuring that children, young people, and their families are truly heard and receive the right support at the right time. I firmly believe every child and young person deserves to be happy and to thrive with the correct provisions in place.

I am incredibly proud to join POINT and am very much looking forward to supporting and empowering families in Blackpool within my SENDIASS role
