I have recently joined the POINT family after many years working within a patient care setting. Having become familiar with the ethos and values of POINT, I felt strongly encouraged to pursue a career with the service, and become part of the amazing, dedicated team.
As the parent of a daughter who experiences the day-to-day challenges of ADHD and autism, I understand how difficult it can be to access the correct support and appropriate environment in which a child can thrive and reach their full potential. During my daughter’s younger years, navigating these challenges was often extremely difficult, which has provided me with both empathy and insight into the difficulties many families face.
By becoming part of the amazing POINT service, I hope to help empower children, young people, and their families who may be facing similar obstacles. I look forward to meeting you, working collaboratively to identify appropriate pathways, and striving to achieve positive outcomes together.
