Hello, my name is Shanaya (Naya for short), I am a SENDIASS officer for Blackpool. I started in October 2024.
I have always worked with SEND. Previously I have worked in supported living for SEND adults in the Blackpool area and I have also worked within schools with children who have had SEND especially ASD and ADHD.
I love making sure children, young people and families are receiving the right information and support that they deserve as this is something everyone should have access to.
I also believe that everyone deserves to be happy and to be heard, therefore I am very excited to be able to help with this by working for such an amazing charity that can truly help and make a difference. I cannot wait to start working with our families and be a helping hand.
